Description

1 individual petition (prisoner) on behalf of John Wixson, able seaman, a transport prisoner currently in Maidstone Gaol in Kent. Grounds for clemency: offers to serve in HM. Navy (is young and fit) and has many friends willing to engage in any manner for his future good behaviour, refer to an memorial on his behalf sent to the king at Windsor 2 weeks earlier. Folios 77-78.
