Description

1 collective petition (prisoner and 12 people, including the magistrates and Mayor of Great Yarmouth) on behalf of Ann Robinson, wife of James, convicted at the Great Yarmouth Quarter Sessions on 21 November 1792, for grand larceny. Grounds for clemency: previous good character and has served 2 years in Yarmouth Gaol. Initial sentence: 7 years transportation. Recommendation: none given. annotated, 'free pardon recommended by Mayors Recorder of Great Yarmouth'. Folio 140.
