Certificate/memorial of Francis Buller on prisoners capitally convicted in Lancashire in 1795[?] and recommended to mercy on the conditions set against their names:
1. William Holme, convicted at the Lancashire Assizes on 9 March 1795[?], for highway robbery, and sentenced to death. Recommendation: 7 years transportation.
2. John Rostron, convicted at the [Lancashire] Quarter Sessions at Manchester, for petty larceny, and sentenced to 7 years transportation, there is now a doubt to his guilt and he is recommended to mercy.
