Report of John Heath on 1 individual petition (prisoner) and 1 collective petition (12 people of Bridport, Dorset) on behalf of John Dunn, a former seaman who worked at the shop of John Barrett, sack and sail maker at Coker in Somerset, convicted at the 'last' Somerset Assizes, for stealing 13lbs of linen yarn and 22 lbs of hempen yarn, value 5/-, property of John Barrett. Evidences supplied by John Bigg. Grounds for clemency: willing and able to serve in HM. Navy. Initial sentence: 2 years imprisonment. Recommendation: none made. Folios 266-269.
