Report of Richard Perryn on James Pyng alias James Byng of Missenden, convicted at the at the 'last' Buckinghamshire Assizes at Aylesbury, for stealing a sheep, value £3, property of Thomas Parnham, a farmer/butcher at Wendover, on 15 January 1795. Evidences supplied by Thomas Parnham, William Trott, constable and Richard Hopcross. There is a letter from George, Prince of Wales instructing the sentence to be suspended, and a further letter from General Lake referring to that letter. Grounds for clemency: none given. Initial sentence: not given. Recommendation: 7 years transportation. Folios 57-62.
