Certificate/memorial of Alexander Thomson on prisoners capitally convicted on the Midland Circuit, reprieved on 'favourable Circumstances' and recommended for mercy on the conditions set against their names:

Northamptonshire Assizes

1. Alexander Major and Thomas Johnson, for house breaking. Recommendation: transportation for life.

2. John Larkin, for stealing a black mare. Recommendation: transportation for life.

Lincolnshire Assizes

3. Henry Ashwell, for highway robbery. Recommendation: transportation for life.

Nottinghamshire Assizes

4. William Wood and Thomas Clower, for stealing a black mare. Recommendation: 14 years transportation.

5. Catherine Brown, for stealing above the value of 40/- from a dwelling house. Recommendation: 12 months imprisonment.
