Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick to Holdernesse: he welcomes the news that the king is to reinforce the army with three regiments of English dragoons, especially as it appears that negotiations with Mecklenburg will fail. Death of the landgrave of Hesse. Ferdinand is unsure of the sentiments of his son the prince. The duke of Brunswick intends to augment his troops with the army by 960 men [enumerated].
