Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick to George II: the hereditary prince has advanced to Ruppertenrod, and de Broglie has abandoned his camp at Giessen. Ferdinand has called upon the garrison of Giessen to surrender. Neutrality of Wetzlar confirmed. If Daun has not retreated from Saxony, he may have to mount a diversion there.
