Reports that a few days after he had proclaimed the 'Act to Continue the Laws for Regulating the Trade between the Subjects of His Majesty's Dominions and the Inhabitants of the Territories belonging to the United States of America, and to Render the Provisions thereof More Effectual' was told that there was great scarcity of flour in Grenada and a prospect of real want if provision was not made for a timely supply from neighbouring islands; refers to importation of flour and other dry provisions, states 'which are in great demand for the slaves at this season of the year;' related enclosure.
