Count Starhemberg to the elector Palatine: he shares his concern at the approach of a Hanoverian army to the Main, but forces the elector could send to the Main would be too late and too few. The French army although retired from Cassel, is still covering the empire. The naval defeat [Cape St Vincent] will not prevent the descent upon England. Dated at Paris. ff. 170, 171
