Transmits copy of a memorial and petition from the merchants of Saint Georges, on the subject of trade between Grenada and the neighbouring Spanish Settlements; memorial signed by Alex Fraser; Gilloch Ker & Co; Hen Palmer; Chas. Morris; Thornton Baillie & Campbell; Munro McDowell & Co.; James Wilkinson; Sommers & Houstonn; Geo. Gordon; George Shand & George Cruden; McKnaight & Keith; John M. Farlance; Robert Otway; Garraway & Sinclair; Harrison & Hind; Bond & Proctor; Leitch & Smith; Park & Smith; Walton & Stott; John McBirnie & Co.; Lucas refers to Captain Collinwood of His Majesty's Frigate Mediator, and his brother Captain Willfred Collinwood, the Commander of the King's Sloop Rattler; reference to the restrictions on commercial connections with the States of America and the Decline of the Barbery Trade.
