William de Ferrers, earl of Derby, to Henry III: when Richard Sward, his nephew Pain de St. Philibert, and others, went against the king and kingdom, to the kingdom of Scotland, Pain's lands in Hecham were taken into the king's hands; because of this seizure Pain has returned and threatened to burn William's lands and manors; William begs to know the king's wishes on this matter.
