Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick to Holdernesse: after some correspondence with his brother the duke of Brunswick he believed the duke has made a decision. He will furnish 2,000 troops without weakening the garrisons of the fortresses of Brunswick and Wolfenbüttel. Ferdinand lists the troops (Zastrow's regiment, grenadiers, foot chasseurs, carabiniers, hussars and mounted chasseurs). The duke wishes the treaty to be on the same basis as that with the landgrave of Hesse. Dated at Krofdorf. ff. 51-53
