Description

Submits Monthly Returns of His Majesty's Forces on Grenada with the state of the Black Corps; description of the composition of the Black Corps which consists of three divisions; the second division of Dragoons or mounted Pioneers under the command of Captain Mackrill, a Lieutenant in the 43rd Regiment, without any subaltern. Mathew states of Mackrill 'this Gentleman has been singularly useful in the Dispersion of the Runaway Negroes, who were become numerous and dangerous to the Inhabitants in the interior parts of this Island.'
