Holdernesse to Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick: the king's admiration for Ferdinand. He wishes him to express his thanks to the troops and to embrace the hereditary prince on his behalf. The king has accepted Lord George Sackville's resignation of his command and has put the marquess of Granby in charge of the British troops. Dated at Whitehall. ff. 119, 120
