Description

Holdernesse to Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick: detailed description of the fall of Quebec and the deaths of Wolfe and Montcalm. The duke of Württemberg is making more of his troops available to the French. Taking advantage of the absence of British ships, Captain Thurot has ventured out of Dunkirk. Dated at Whitehall. ff. 22-27
