Holdernesse to Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick: he has not been able to agree with Mr Hardenberg on a new treaty with the landgrave of Hesse. The minister has informed his court and is awaiting instructions. Holdernesse must await the outcome before he can reply to Ferdinand's letter of 28 November. He is going to Bath for the waters and has ordered all Ferdinand's letters to be shown to the king during his absence. Dated at Whitehall. ff. 149, 150
