Holdernesse to Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick: he thanks him for his treatment of the duke of Richmond. The king of Spain is still alive. Possible visit of the king of Naples to Lyon. The king has judged it best to assemble part of his fleet in the Channel, and a considerable squadron will soon be off Torbay under Admiral Hawke. Dated at Whitehall. PS. that he is enclosing a letter from Contades which has come into his hands. ff. 70-72
