Description

Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick to Holdernesse: he thanks him for informing him that Lord George Sackville is to succeed the duke of Marlborough as commander of the British troops. His pleasure at the capture of Cataraqui [Fort Frontenac]. He thanks him for the friendly manner in which he received the news of 14 October. Dated at Münster. ff. 135, 136
