Holdernesse to Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick: as Ferdinand is aware of the king's orders regarding the artillery, he will not add to them. He congratulates him on the successful openings of the campaigns in Thuringia and on the Polish borders. All the English officers have left for their posts, but the horses have suffered in the storm.
