Nature of request
The good people of London ask that the ordinances made for the punishment of bakers, brewers, taverners, millers and others, as the result of a writ of the King's father in his tenth year, and especially those concerning the weighing of corn and flour to prevent theft, might be renewed and confirmed by the present King.
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege.Because it is attested before the council that a plea is pending on this matter before the King's justices, this petition is to be sent to the said justices, ordering them to do justice in the said plea.
