- [Parts of this petition are illegible]The commons request remedy against charges being levied against them which they claim have already been paid. They state that the king had granted the wapentakes of Blackburn and Salford and the soke of Penwortham to Queen Isabella, and the remainder of the county to Henry, Earl of Lancaster, and Pakynton had been appointed to receive various fines and levies across the entire county.
