- The people of Lancaster request a grant of pontage for six years to pay for the rebuilding of the bridge over the River Lune at Lancaster, destroyed by the Scots.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated on the dorse to? 1310, with reference to a grant of pontage (CPR 1307-13, p.236). However, that grant appears to be unconnected, being for entirely different bridges and in response to a separate petition (see SC 8/93/4648-9). The mention of the Scots would seem to date this petition to the aftermath of a Scottish raid, possibly 1316 but more probably that of 1322, when Lancaster was sacked.
