Kendale requests that the king will grant him the land of Lyndon which he holds of the king for the extent to be paid at the Exchequer for his service to the king and his injuries at the battle of Stirling as he has had to sell £10 of rent to pay his ransom.

Note
The petition dates to c. 1317 as the petitioner was clearly in possession of the manor when the king granted that he was quit of the rent for the manor for 6 years in aid of his sustenance on his pilgrimage to the Holy Land (CPR 1313-17, p.628).
