Nature of request
Kent requests that the record and process concerning the feoffment of the manor of Dysart be examined. Pypard enfeoffed her and her late husband of the manor, but while her husband was in prison in Oxford he sued a writ of quare cessavit per biennium and recovered the manor though the petitioner was not named in the writ, and he before she could challenge it he enfeoffed the king with the manor. She has petitioned before for recovery but because the manor is in the king's hand the justices would not act.
