Note
Dated to? c. 1428 on the guard, with reference to SC 8/119/5927, but no evidence is cited for such dating on either document. The endorsement to the petition suggests this writ forms the response, but no enrolment has been found, suggesting this could simply be a draft submitted with the petition. The lack of a dating clause would also suggest that this writ is a draft.
