Poor tenants of the demesne lands of Newcastle Lyons.

Nature of request
The tenants request a writ to the treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer in Dublin, releasing them from their arrears of rent. They claim that they are unable to pay the £200 and more owed on account of their poverty, caused by attacks upon them by various Scottish and Irish rebels, both in the time of the present king and his father.
Nature of endorsement
The king, of his good grace, releases them of £100 of their arrears.
