Nature of request
Eygnon ap Ieuan requests that a writ be sent to the justice of North Wales to enquire of the truth of his behaviour towards the king, and according to what is found to maintain or punish him, restoring him to his chattels or losing them. He has been accused of conspiracy against the king, and was imprisoned in Caernarfon Castle until delivered by the justice of North Wales.

Let him have a writ to the Justices to enquire into the contents of this petition, and certify the king concerning the findings.
