Nature of request
Philippa requests the arrears of her annual pension of 300 marks, granted by Richard II and confirmed by Henry IV. This was in arrears by over 1000 marks, and she asks for assignments to be made from the revenues of various alien priories, in the king's hands due to the French wars.
Nature of endorsement
The king, of the advice of the lords spiritual and temporal in Parliament, wills that the Duchess be paid this 300 marks at the Exchequer at Michaelmas, and that the Chancellor should issue further writs of liberate from time to time.

Identified in Rot. Parl. Vol. III, p.560 as relating to the 1404 parliament. However, many of the other petitions published there have been dated in error, actually belonging to 1406, and this petition may also date from that year.
