Note (Additional information about the record)
- The dating clause does not specify the king Henry, but it is clearly either Henry IV (1410) or Henry VI (1433). The name Haseley at the foot presumably relates to the chancery clerk, Thomas Haseley (d.c.1450), who served as Clerk of the Crown in Chancery between 1415 and 1448. Thus 1433 appears the more likely of the two dates.
