[This petition is badly damaged]Hunt and his colleagues request writs to the Chancellor to allow them to be restored to their possessions in Barnwell. They were dispossessed when the lands formerly held by Richard Laurence were taken into the king's hands by the escheator due to the minority of his heir, and were subsequently granted to William Weldon. They claim that these lands were not held of the king but of the Abbot of Peterborough.
