Note (Additional information about the record)
- Purveys and Barton were sheriffs of London from Michaelmas 1418 to Michaelmas 1419, with Botiller and Whitingham serving the following year. A similar petition regarding demands from Perneys and Barton was presented to the parliament of November 1422, and it seems likely that this petition dates from around the same time.
