Joan Whaplode requests the Commons to urge the king to order the Chancellor to issue writs to her to allow her to pursue her case against Marchall, Crosby and Bradwas concerning property in London, which she claims was wrongfully taken from her following a grant made by the king in his second year.
Nature of endorsement
[on face] Let it be sent to the king and lords.[on dorse] The king, with the assent and advice of the lords spiritual and temporal in Parliament, wills that these petitions be sent to the Chancery, and that the Chancellor orders his justices to summon the parties before them and hear the case of each of the parties on the matters contained in the petitions, and the Chancellor should then do justice to them.
