Nature of request
William de la Haye requests payment of the arrears owing to him from his manor of Greenstead. He granted the manor and appurtenances to Audley in the king's fourteenth year (1320-1), on various conditions including payment of 12d per day when he was away from the manor. The manor is now in the king's hands due to Audley's rebellion, and payments are in arrears.
Nature of endorsement
Because Sir Hugh Audley is in prison, speak to him in order to inform the king as to what estate he held in this manor, so that the king can do whatever should be done.
