Nature of request
The Prior of Hexham requests licence to alienate in mortmain land worth £20 per annum in North Milburn, held of Robert and Eleanor de Stutevile. An inquisition ad quod damnum was held, stating that the damage to the king of such a grant would be no more than 6d per annum. After this had been shown to the Chancellor, the prior was ordered to appear at this parliament.
