Hunte requests pardon of £160 outstanding upon his account as sheriff of Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire. He states that he served as Speaker in the Parliament held in the twelfth year (), and was appointed as sheriff against his will, but served two years after being promised that he would not suffer financial loss.

Note
Hunte served as sheriff between 5 November 1433 and 7 November 1435, and presumably the petition dates from soon after his term of office. He was speaker in the 1433 Parliament (and also in 1420).
