- The merchants of the Hanse request the restoration of their rights and privileges. They produce a copy of a bill given to them at the last Parliament, which they have been asked to seal, but dare not do so, since they do not possess the same rights in English ports as English merchants in the Hanse towns. Such rights had been granted by the king's predecessors, and confirmed by the king, but had then been withdrawn.
