Chartheuse (Carthusians).

Note
The alien cell at Monks Kirby was granted to Axholme by Richard II in 1396 (when it was technically dissolved), restored to Angers by Henry IV in 1399, and finally granted back to Axholme by Henry V in 1415. Therefore it seems likely that the petition dates to after 1415, although probably to the reign of Henry V, given that it mentions the king's return to England. The guard note links it with SC 8/128/6364 and SC 8 178/8871, but at least one and possibly both of these appear to be concerned with the aftermath of Henry IV's grant of 1399.
