Nature of request
John de Henley seeks justice in a dispute over a tenement in Charring Cross. He purchased the tenement from Hawe, intending to endow it to St Stephen's chapel, but his possession was challenged by Nook, who was maintained by Botisham and the Abbot and Convent of Westminster. Although he produced all his documentation, and Nook produced none, the assize jury falsely found in favour of Nook.
