Nature of request
Holbech seeks judgement in his case. He states that he made an agreement with Bristowe and others to act as their attorney in recovering a debt from the Master of the Order of Santiago and the Chancellor of Portugal, for which they agreed to pay his costs. They now refuse to pay those costs, as a result of which he is now in poverty and is also unable to repay a debt owing to the king, but can get no remedy at common law.
