- The Merchants of the Hanse ask that their accumulated privileges be upheld and that they be exempt from payment of the new customs levies introduced in 35 Edward III (1361).

- The king wills that the liberties and privileges granted by charter to the supplicants be allowed in full, and that they be charged only to the effect of the charters and no more.
