- The merchants request a writ to the customers of London ordering them to follow the tenor of the king's recent proclamation allowing them to buy and export their wool to wherever they wished. The merchants had bought wool and taken it to London, and were ready to pay their customs, but the customers were insisting that it be taken to Calais for payment there.
