Nature of request
[Petition in 3 parts].1) The burgesses request confirmation of their charters of their liberties.2) They request a grant de novo that no-one of the town will be impleaded for tenements of pleas of trespass and quarrels outside of the town.3) They request murage for 10 years.
Nature of endorsement
They should have murage for 5 years, and they should have confirmation of their charters, and according to the petition it is granted except in cases concerning the lord king himself or his ministers or the community of the town. Let it be done for a fine of £40.
