Godfrey requests that the Chancellor be ordered to direct a commission to Erpingham, Cheyne, Beauchamp and Arnold to arrest Mareys to answer before the council at Easter next for the lands of Stanlake, who was found an idiot, when Godfrey will speak for the profit of the king, and that in the meantime the goods and chattels of Mareys be taken into the king's hand until he has satisfied the king in £1,000 for the king and his son John's profit.
