Nature of request
It is requested that a writ be sent to Gray and Felton that they deliver Raynton who was taken and is held without ransom, and that Basset and Denum, lately envoys to Scotland be put in name of the king to do right to Raynton.
Nature of endorsement
Let a writ be ordered to Gray and Felton that they deliver Raynton if they took him, and if not then let certain people be assigned to acquire of the names of those that took Raynton and where he is held, and to take his body where it is found if it is found in a franchise or outside, and put him in safe keeping, and to attach all those that they find culpable of the taking.
