- The abbot of Gloucester requests letters to the chamberlain to make writs out of Chancery commanding the justices to proceed in the suit that he has against the abbot of Vale Royal for the advowson of the church of St Paterne in Llanbadarn Fawr as the suit has been much delayed as the abbot of Vale Royal claims to have it by gift of the late Prince of Wales by licence of Edward III and the justices do not wish to proceed in the suit.1)
