Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is speculatively dated to? 1385 on the guard, though there is no clear evidence to support this dating. Another petition on the same matter by the same petitioner and an apparent counter petition are dated on their guards to? 1378-? 1379 and? c. 1390 respectively (SC 8/113/5623; SC 8/113/5627). Assuming that these dates are roughly correct, and given the hands and form of the petitions, they are here dated more impressionistically to the last quarter of the fourteenth century.
