Gerberge, Worston, Mavav and Bracy, executors of the testament of the duke of York request that they be granted protection for three years against all manner of pleas of debts, as they will be ruined by those made against them without the king's aid.
Nature of endorsement
The lords spiritual and temporal agree to the request of the commons in this parliament that the executors, each of them, have protection with clause volumus for three years so that none of them are impleaded for debts concerning their testator, provided that none of them take inappropriate advantage of such protection.
