Note
The petition is given the date range 1318-1327 based on the dating ascribed to this petition by Constance Fraser. She notes two distinct groups of petitions requesting alleviation of debts because of war damage, one group dating to 1318, and the other to 1325-7 (SC 8/32/1565; SC 8/34/1652; SC 8/64/3199; SC 8/74/3681; SC 8/95/4725; SC 8/165/8209). Because all of the responses to this petition are in Latin it seems likely that this petition dates to before 1322.
