Flettewyk requests that he can hold the custody of the land and marriage of the heir of William de Drielawe as it was granted to him by the king and he has had nothing else for his 30 years service.
Nature of endorsement
Because it has been found by inquisition that Charon had seisin of the land by gift of the king, that similarly he is to have the custody of the marriage.The king wishes that Flettewyk should have some reward for his service.
